This tranquil garden and estate is renowned for its glorious position at the head of Carrick Roads, with panoramic views down the estuary towards Falmouth and the sea.

The garden has been planted with an abundance of those tender shrubs so characteristic of Cornwall - camellias, rhododendrons and magnolias - together with many rare varieties of hydrangea and a newly established Cornish apple orchard.

Trelissick garden is unusual as a Cornish garden in that it also benefits from an abundance of summer colour is the boarders. The garden is open throughout the year, check for days and times in winter on 01872 862090. There are also walks through 500 acres of riverside woods and parkland sweeping down to the water's edge that can be enjoyed all the year round.

Trelissick also features an art and craft gallery - selling items produced and, inspired by Cornwall, a restaurant, cafe, art gallery, shop and plant sales. Arrive by Fal River Links boat and receive a discounted entry price, boats run regularly from the Prince of Wales Pier Falmouth, Truro, St Mawes as well as from Ponsharden Park & Float and Customs House Quay Falmouth from May 27th.
